Information for party guests
Coming to a party and not sure what to expect?
Here is a list of commonly questions asked to help you prepare.
What to wear?
Children’s party clothing is OK as we provide cooking aprons to protect against spills and stains.
Tops with short sleeves or sleeves that can be pushed up is helpful to avoid any mixture that may wander whilst mixing.
As jackets and jumpers aren’t necessary, it’s best to take them away and bring them back at pick up. If any clothes are left behind, they are stored for six months and then passed on to charity organisations.
When to arrive?
Guests can arrive up to 5 minutes before the start time to allow us time to set up the room. If you expect a late arrival, please let your host know in advance so that they can advise us. Please note that if you arrive more than 30 minutes late on the day, your child won’t be able to bake from scratch, however they will still be able to join in, as we will make up a spare bowl for them to have when you arrive.
How long do parties last?
Children’s parties run for 1½ to 2 hours, depending on the item chosen to be baked. Half the party time is spent cooking, with the remainder set aside for party food and age-appropriate games.
Where are you located?
You can view our locations, contact details and maps on our contact us page.
What about allergies?
Food allergies are not a problem at Gourmet Kids – please review our allergies section for more information.
Can we invite adult guests?
Non-participating adult guests are more than welcome to join us in our seating area while their children are having fun, however please note that we are limited for space when it comes to pushchairs and prams.
